Comfortable homes sit here filled with fires, pampered pooches and shy cats. Here the dogs have comfortable lives and live to they're hearts pleasure.

She padded after the male, intent on learning more information. She glanced behind her, remembering the direction of their camp, as she continued to follow him. She held back a yawn, and lifted her tail to her mouth, stifling it. He had mentioned getting more food... she wasn't like most of her species. She didn't like Two-leg food. Holding a tail up for him, motioning to slow down, she crouched down, listening. She heard a noise, and soon ran after it, chasing the bird down. Poor thing didn't have a seconds warning before it had it's neck bitten. Silence soon returned to the male, holding it on her jaws, dropping it at her paws. She then took a bite, bending her head down, but still alert.

"A bird?" Wes barked a bit confused. "We have perfectly good trash everywhere. And I have a great nose. I can find just about anything. That's how me and my sister lived for a long time. I would find the food and well, she did everything else.... But she's the older sister." He barked, Defending himself.

She nodded with a smile. A bird. Her favorite type of prey. She had been frowned upon: told to eat normal food. To just go and find her food, not to go shed blood to eat. But she had been raised that way, and that's how she wanted to keep it. Besides, fresh meat tasted much better than week old meat. She nudged it towards him with her nose, and then waved her tail encouragingly, grinning. All a play, of course.

"I don't know..." Wes inched closer to her, a bit hesitant. He'd never tasted another ANIMAL before. The whole thing was really weird to him. He glanced at Silence with an uncertain glance and sniffed the bird's broken and bloody body. It couldn't hurt to try, right? He'd never have to do it again if he didn't like it. He could go back to pepperoni pizza and hot dogs. Oh and cupcakes, sweet, sweet cupcakes. He took a delicate bite and contemplated his mouthful. Chewing quickly and swallowing. He played with the taste in his mouth for a bit before he smiled a weak smile and wagged his tail. "Hey! It's not THAT bad." His grin grew across his face.

She watched him eat it, and nodded. It was good tasting. Fresh, succulent, and not processed. Not very fattening either: wasn't it shocking? She cared for how she looked. Not what would be expected from her. Leaning down, she ripped some more off, and quickly chewed and swallowed. She glanced around, and tore a wing off. It came off with a sickening squish, and she stepped on the edge of it. Pulling upwards, she tore it in half, before quickly devouring it. She then ate the other side of the wing, and started to eat the other one in the same way.

"You should eat the rest though." He barked reluctantly to eat any more until he knew how his stomach would react.

She shrugged, and then was about to say something. She had even opened her mouth. Quickly distracting him, she took a bite of it, and quickly gobbled the last bits up. Licking the blood of her chops, she blinked her eyes a couple times, and stretched out from the uncomfortable position she had been in. Her neck hurt. She motioned for him to continue with the tip of her tail, and stood, waiting.

Wes turned and trotted along. His nails clicking on the pavement. He paused at the edge of an alley and took a few more turns and twists. He knew this territory very good now and even though this maze of a city could find his way around. After some walking he stopped and sniffed. "Okay, we're gonna have to be quiet." He advise and starting walking and looked around a corner. "We're really close to Blood territory." He barked. "See over there? Never go past that point. EVER."

Of course she'd never cross over that line. Not in front of them at least. But she'd go report to her leader, and she'd cross the line. Cross into her true territory. Cross back to her old life for a bit, before slipping back to this fake life. But she had to do it or her group: for her leader. For them. She nodded, seeming genuine.

"I'll show you some more of our borders." Wes barked, backing away from Blood territory. He was turely upset by their closeness. He wasn't about to risk his life and their new member's. He truely was starting to accept Silence, even though he had never truely resented her. To him, she was already pack, already family. "Come on." He urged and trotted the other way.

She nodded, before glancing over once more. When was she supposed to meet for the first time here? She tried to remember the leaders words, and couldn't. Following him, she continued to be deep in thought. Oh! Finally remembering, she once more nodded to herself. When they finally trusted her, or if possible, in three days. She could wait. Until then, she decided to listen and watch, waiting for the one detail that will be their downfall.

Wes continued to serve as a tour guide. He talked happily to her as soon as they were away from the Blood border. And by the time he was done showing her all the borders, best places for food and the safest places to hide if need be he sighed. "I don't think I've talked to much in a long time!" he barked. "Are you tired and ready to head back?" He asked.
