Vinny rolled his eyes and curled his lip at Alice. He wasn't in the mood to socialize. He had only been brought along if there was trouble, which there wasn't, so his trip out had been a waste of energy. "Oh just shut your muzzle and eat," he growled, turning his broad head away from the other dogs.

Alice tried not to laugh. She was not offended by his attitude. The she-dog threw her head back in a chuckle. "Oh come on grumpy-lumps. Live a little." she said in an apologetic tone, not wanting a bad friendship with Vinny. Alice huffed at him, rolling her purple eyes and she stretched yawning, tugging an other wiener from Akira; succeeding, she walked over to the wall to eat it.

Akira curled her lip and growled, "shut you're own muzzle, you don't like it then go back to the damn lot!" She stood up, her broad head lowering slightly though not by much to face Vinny. A good dog but very tempermental, of course she too was.

Vinny snorted and slid to a laying position. He rested his chin on his paws and watched the cars slowly making their way through the street. It was the busytime. The humans were yowling and honking at one another. Every so often, one would leap out of their seats and lung at another, yowling unintelligibly. It reminded him too much of his life in the cages. He remembered after a bad match, or even a good one, the humans would come in, screeching and howling. They'd throw around glass bottles, sharp needles spraying all over the floor. They would pour nasty brown liquid into their bowls, instead of water. The smell had made his eyes water and his throat burn. He squeezed his eyes shut. It was over now, and he would never have to see his master again. The humans with the glowing cars had taken him and his followers away. He let out a whimper, remembering his master's cruel face as he watched him climb into the blinking contraption.

Akira wrinkled her nose and then finished eating Anubis swallowed his last piece and looked at her. "What to do today? I mean...we need something to do." he sighed and rested his head on his paws. "I don't know, Central Park anyone?" Akira asked and looked around. She knew that the park was the only place where truce was. But it was also dangerous, filled with dog catchers and bikes, people, animals...

Alice snorted. "I'll go to Central Park. But I will go alone, if that is a choice." she said smartly, turning her head away. The black lab sighed and lied her head on her paws slowly, her purple eyes staring up at the sky blankly. It was blue with white fluffs in it. "Hmm..." she murmured admiring the clouds over head. Alice rose her head slowly after a while of cloud-gazing; sniffing the air precautiously. Alice got to her paws; and walked off. "Bye Akira, cya later at the lot." she huffed to her. After a little. Alice was gone in the musk.

Vincent watched Alice pad away and sniffed with contempt. Good riddince. He glanced nervously over at Akira and Anubis. He knew he wasn't their favorite dog. Probably their least favorite. That was fine by him. If he played his cards right, they might even get sick enough of him and end his miserable life once and for all. His stomach clenched, realizing how much he had contemplated the different ways he could die, all painful and awful. He sighed and got to his paws. "Central Park then?" he grumbled.

Akira looked at him, her eyes softened breifly for she felt love for every single one of the members. She would never want them to die and though some were hard headed and mean, so was she and she knew that they were loyal as well. Akira got up, she stretched her long legs and sighed, "hey Vinny, you've been with us long and I don't even know where you come from! Her in New York or not?" Anubis got up as well, he trotted on the spot then stopped. "Whew!" he said happily.

Mel trotted over to Anubis and sat beside him, her soft, silky fur shining gently in the soft light. She looked up at Anubis with her beautiful blue eys and smiled. She would try and make friends with him, like she tried with everyone. She lifted the base of her ears, and looked aroud, but settled back down again.

Vinny looked at the she-dog and furrowed his brow. "Yes, I'm from New York," he murmured. He didn't know what part of town the cages had been in, but he had always thought of it as the Bad Place. "But I didn't roam around like now. Mostly in a cage, when Master didn't have me out in the ring." His dark eyes were dull and lifeless, remembering the cramped, smelliness of the cages. He twitched his ears, trying to forget about his past.

Akira went up to him and nosed his cheek, her eyes gentle for once. "You're safe here, with all of us." she murmured. It was true that though she was cold, she would give her life for any one of her Blood-mates. She loved them deeply, and the thought of losing someone so important like Vinny or Anubis made her deeply sad...Snapping back to reality the bitch moved away, "uhh, to Central Park then, I want to kick around some pigeons!" and then she bounded off.
